Trek on the track

This post is about our gangs trek on Sakleshpur to Yedakumari . That is on the trek on the track.

The trek is been well organized and we are a crew of 11 members. Everything been properly organized by backpackers.org by bangalore. Thanks to Lakshmi narayanan (Lacchu!!) and Deepak. We started here by Chennai on Nov 6th 2009 by lalbagh express to Bangalore. After finishing our dinner Deepak and Lacchu came with proper arrangements. A 6hr drive from Bangalore to Sakleshpur started with dreams.

Everyone shared the stuffs brought by Lacchu that includes tents, food for two days etc. We are not that much aware about train crossings on that route. Trains been often on the route especially oil containers and our crew members Karthik and Vijay narrowly escaped from a Train. Its been a passenger train that suddenly came opposite to us while crossing the bridge.

Everyone shared a good rapport and relationship. During these kind of journeys everyone in the team is dependent with other one and we humans can feel the value of survival and relationship rather then money!!.

We stayed the night in Yedakumari Station with a delicious dinner!!. Next day we trekked through rain forests which has full of blood sucking leeches. initially got scared but after some time we got used to that. G.Suresh of our team suffered a lot and other with minor bites.

Thanks to all the members, Lacchu, Deepak, IRCTC and other transport we used and at last our parents and almighty for providing us safety and make this trek possible. I will be back with other trek experiences soon. Take care Guys.
